I can recommend adding Kruiser - a graphic file manager that resembles Windows Explorer. You can download it from the KDE site or from Tucows. The current version expects to find libjpeg.so.6. You need only create a symbolic link to /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62.0.0.
Kruiser is very useful if you have a lot of graphics files,
since it will display a thumbnail. Additionally, people
who are used to Corel Linux will appreciate Kruiser's "look and
feel" since it is similar to
Corel's "File Manager."
Much thanks to Caldera Tech Support for their quick response to my enquiry about the libjpeg.so.6.
Although the question is outside of installation support, I
did get a useful suggestion. There is a reason
why I think Caldera Linux is a first class distro.
