KDE MIME Types and 'Applications'

Mime Types allow you to click on a given object in the kfm browser and automatically launch an appopriate program to deal with it. Such examples are text files -> keditor, gif files -> gimp. Of course, there are a large number of mime types pre-installed on your system. Naturally, no-one can think of everything. So, the following text shows how to allow doom wad files to be automatically associated with the doom program. Simply alter the following to suit your situation.
